The programme brings together around twenty research laboratories, higher education institutions, public organisations and socio-economic partners around a shared goal: transforming environmental data into knowledge and services that benefit local communities and territories.

This ambition is built around three complementary objectives:

Manage
Improve the monitoring and management of regional natural resources through a better understanding of the environment and how it changes over time.

Predict
Develop simulation and prediction capabilities to anticipate the impacts of climate change, environmental changes and land-use practices.

Develop
Foster innovation, collaboration and the development of new services for local authorities, businesses and regional stakeholders.

Through this approach, JUNON helps strengthen regional scientific excellence, promote the application of research findings and support the ecological, agricultural and energy transition.
